says to Everyone: If it hadn't been for Artemis trying to soothe Stormy, who knows what would have happened in the end. As it was, the moment she hit the ground she felt a sense of relief that made it easier to think straight, even if her thoughts were all about escape. She would take off at a limp, a look over her shoulder at the house only to notice that none of the Delta Nu's were on their way. They weren't even on their feet! She would hear the 'over here' and Stormy would stop long enough, recognizing...like for like. And the source of that touch of calm. "Are you a Delta Nu?!"...it might strike her later, how weird it was to ask this rando stranger if she was a sorority sister, but what else could Stormy do? Her world had consisted of the cult for far too long. She wasn't running past Artemis at least. She was, however, inching around the woman and there was one emotion that was clear to everyone. Stormy was going to take off and never look back!

says to Everyone: *he leaned over the rail as the girl fell to the ground, heard the impact and winced. Though he was quite surprise to find the girl stumbling to her feet and fast limping away from the house at towards.. Artemis. He was still not sure who was a baddie and who wasn’t for all he knew the girl was fleeing justice, and Artemis was in her way. Artemis was only an apprentice and he doubted she could do much to protect herself. He had already felt the bad juju field waver, fade out and then come back. Obviously the poor girl was over whelmed by the effort it took and couldn’t be counted on for much more then that. Not that that was an insult of course, the large field was something he couldn’t do without a lot of prep. So being the Hero he was, his magic still fueling and protecting his body, he took a few steps back then dashed at the edge of the roof. His powerful legs hurling his body up and forward, he soard through the air like a rock and plummeted to the ground. The was a twinge of pain in his right ankle as he hit the ground at a run, stumbling, arms wind milling, his body careening wildly with the momentum of the jump until he hit the runaway hard in the back. His 230 pound 6 foot 3 fame collapsing atop her on the dirt at Artemis’s feet. He looked up to she her shoes, then further to see her strained face* Don’t worry I Saved you Arty… *he tossed a smile at Artemis*

says to Everyone: ”No, of course not.. -her voice was a bit strained though. Even if those who weren’t sensivie, like Karson over there, wouldn’t feel what she did she had put a lot of magical umph out and she was feeling. Sure it wasn’t as exciting as throwing fire about or even being able to bulldoze through a door like it was nothing, but it was useful in moments like this. Overloading mental circuits was dangerously close to meddling in peoples mind, but that wasnt’ really what she did, it was in that grey area that sometimes you had to work in to survive. I mean come on.. her mentor was one of those people who executed warlocks.. so.. the rules and the grey areas of magic were well known to her .. they were.. also a bit rogue sometimes but the more you learned of the world, the more you had to adapt and change with it. She noticed that the woman was looking like a bird who just got out of a cage and wanted nothing else but to fly away. Artemis was still down on one knee as she kept her field up. She would have tried to knock you out as well with a psychic assault if she had to in order to put you down. You didn’t have quite the stain on you that she had felt from the others, there was.. something there, but it wasn’t like the sickening wrongness that had hung on some of the others- ”Artemis.....-but her focus was wavering and her breathing was a bit heavy.. she was trying to introduce herself- stars and stones.. please don’t run....

-and then came Karson.. and come on... he had to feel the psychic build up that she put out and surely he had to notice that all of the robe wearers were out like lights. Even the girl had noticed that none of them were up and chasing .. or doing anything to help themselves!.. she might be an apprentice but by god she was obviously more aware than a full blown wizard of the white council. She was being trained by a senior warden and member of the white council.. he was the Black staff ffs! not that Artemis knew it.. I assume she iddnt’ nkow it either. btu she was learning more battle magic, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t able to take care of herself. Her intuiition or feeling of peoples aura made her a bit more reactive and able to read people or their intentions. Sensitivity went a long way in reading people. But it also made it difficult for her to deal with a great deal of emotion. Oh brother... seriously.. if an expression could say “oh brother” the one she had on her face right now said just that. You dind’t know anything about her obviously, had she been in danger she just would have veiled and blinked off the radar. but then she looked back toward the girl and stood up from where she had dropped to one knee- ”I’m Artemis I mean... are you alright?

says to Everyone: For a moment there, things were going to be okay. Stormy could run, the other woman wasn't trying to stop her...and Then something hit her from behind, like a boulder. Or you know. A full grown man. Because that wasn't going to smush the poor little college kid into the ground. She'd land with a comical splat, which did away with all of the good deeds that Arty had been trying to do. All the calm in the world wasn't going to keep Stormy sane when she was trying to escape from Cultists and someone took away her free will and slammed her from behind. She'd scream and try to fight, not that she could move much, her hands turning to beat at whatever part of Karson that she could get at. Even if she pawed at him like the exhausted kitten that she was. She tried to scream but she'd started crying somewhere in the process, eyes wide, only Arty coming to her side, the question of 'are you alright' stopping her. Was she alright?! Who could she even tell about all this ****?! She knew that these people were like her, shecould feel it it. It was innate. But it was just too much. A little wail of..."They were going to kill me! Demons! I'm not alright. I just want to go home!"...but There was no home. There was nothing that was going to be 'fine' in the world ever again. You couldn't go back to nothing after you found out the the things that went bump in the night. Giving up on her fighting, she'd just lay there as the realization hit - she was either being dragged back in that pink house of death...or She was in another situation she knew nothing about. Going limp she'd just lay there, looking dumbly up at Artemis. The woman had been polite. So Stormy went with her instincts. "I'm Bennet. Stormy."

says to Everyone: *The girl beneath him squirmed and kicked and cried; but she was going nowhere. He secured her wrist in a giant hand and tugged it up behind her back in to an arm bar, then pressed himself up off the ground looking directly into to Artemis’s eyes. He held the gaze for an exhausted moment, pulling away just at the beginning of a soul gaze.*Don’t worry… I got her… *he said through heavy breaths* Good Job with the Bad Juju field kid.. *he let out a wry grin, mostly in Jest since he was pretending not notice any of the other **** she had done. He liked to **** with people. It made him happy. Plus it was a genuine compliment in the fact that the field had done it’s job. He looked down at the girl who had suddenly stopped fighting and said* Well Ms. Bennet.. you got some ‘splainin to do… ‘Im going to get up and let go of you but if you run… it is game on.. * he released the arm bar and stood reluctantly, ready to do a Yokosuma splash back atop her should she try and run. In the distance he could hear the quiet wail of sirens, and it was also the first time he noticed the smell of smoke. He turned back to look at the pink house only to see smoke rising from the roof* Umm * he looked at Artemis* Did you do that? Or did she? *He wasn’t sure how many people were in the burning house still*

says to Everyone: -yup.. polite.. uh.. it hadn’t came out much yet but the woman was Scottish actually, but she hadn’t said a great deal for that realy to come out. She had only been in the states for a few months and had been with Morgan, as a mentor!, nothing else was going on! not that anybody cared. What was going on here was just .. more of a failure.. not for you or even the cultists.. but it was glaringly obvious that there was no support system for people with magic.... most didn’t even believe it existed until they were hit in the face with it or had done somethign live changing without even meaning to. Magic manifested differently for everybody at different times in their lives. .. and so few knew about the white council, or the entire other part of the world they lived in.. they didnt’ know about the monsters.. the magical.. the mythical.. gods and monsters were real, hell she had met a god before... well somebody through history that had been a god, not a christian one of course, but still a god who was going about life... eh.. nevermind moving on. So, we’re goign to say that Morgan is doing things with the other Wardens to get things together and others had showed up and so Artemis let her field drop now since there were others about that could put up the field. Morgan had likely picke dup on some of the same stuff that Artemis had when it came to the intentions of the poor girl who had nearly got herself killed onthe roof top- ”Pleasure Miss Bennet”-and she held out an exhausted hand.. she could feel your tiredness as well as karsons.. **** whatever he was feeling right now.. the tard.. - ”I’m not going to hurt you, you have my word -which meant a great deal.. she could swear on her magic but it seemed a bit more dramatic that necessary for this occasion. Hopefully. .. you would know enough about power that giving your word was a big deal among any signatories to the accords.. .uh.. which were just a code of ethics that all signatories followed..so.. vampires.. winter court, summer court, free holding lords, ancient beings.. those who took honor seriously-

” I’m not a kid, and dont’ call me Arty -Morgan could get away with that sort of stuff, she didn’t know you.. she had been respectful enough to even use your title.. and you were not returnign that same respect. She just shook her head and let out a breath. when you got off the poor girl she reached her hand out to her- ”She’s not responsible Karson, Morgan will look into any violations of magic.. nobody died.. and she doesn’t have that.. stain.. on her -assuming you would know what she meant, but maybe you wouldn’t The had talked about it when at the memorial, and dark magic seriously left a stain on a soul that never quite went away- ”we should get out of here...

says to Everyone: arm bared, smushed into the ground, and yes still having a civil conversation...Stormy was starting to think that this was one of the better nights of her year! At least they werent part of the cult. She would let out a quiet...'no...I'll be good..."...but really, she wanted to scream at the man that she was the victim. She would stay on the ground, looking between Arty and Karson as they spoke about particulars. That she wasn't responsible, that stain. The guilt was overwhelming. A little 'But I am! I should have tried to stop them..."...not just with the demon. So many times that year. Trying not to be overwhelmed, and oh so exhausted. Stormy would slump, defeated, as she heard the sirens. "Oh no..."...after all. She could easily see how this was going to get her thrown in jail among other things. Trying not to panic, Stormy would look at the two..."is it too much to ask that this was a rescue?"...if she had only known the real reason...and she suspected. But really. She could wish.

says to Everyone: -it was silly to people who weren’t used to this nonsense.. that they were being civil and just carrying on a relatively normal conversation. Changes were those of the cult that were likely beyond salvation would be taken through the never never through The Way back to where the senior counsel was... and the wardens.. and trials and the like were had. - ”It wasn’t, we were just looking for answers, but we couldnt’ just stand by either ”-she was tired so that Scottish brogue was coming through a bit thicker but no matter- ”I’ll cover us, lets go -cover as in... the veil- ”you can stay with me Ms. Bennet, You’ll be safe -blahblah blah.. she actually wasn’t mad at Karson for anything, but yea she had to give him some grief.. Arty.. the hell kind of kick name was Arty and.. Kid.. totally downplaying what she did during the fight! .. either way. says to Everyone: The cultists were used to college students. The stupid, the innocent, the young and helpless. The professors, who would do anything for them if seduced right. They had gotten away with their behavior for so long that they were in no way prepared for the attack that besieged them now. The women would go flying like some natural disaster had blew their door down and Karson would ruin everything. Up on the rooftop, Stormy's abilities were out of control. As Karson came to the rooftop, the robes of the woman Stormy had been wrestling with had caught fire and she was running straight for Karson like some shooting star. Exhausted, frightened, out of control...she Wasn't trained for the miasma of power and emotions that was filling the air, humid, too thick to breathe through. She would fight her way to the edge of the roof, knowing the only way out...was Away from the Delta Nu house. That pink prison that had made her life hell. She had nothing left to believe in, not after what she'd seen the cultists do to that poor woman, the demon. The parties all year long. She just hoped that whatever happened, it ended this chaotic mess that was her life as she grabbed onto the edge of the roof and started to roll herself over it...

says to Everyone: -she snorted... if you could feel it then whyyyy did you write it off as rush week gone wrong! .. honestly not everybody was nearly as sensitive as she was. Morgan wasn’t even as sensitive to such things as Artemis was. She didn’t thing for a moment it was a cat fight up there, it didn’t feel like a cat fight at all to her! Artemis held back some but still walked forward as she watched the periphery and would keep anybody from wandering into whatever mess this was. She felt the wards come down like a tension dissolving around the house . Okay as for Karson, she had veiled him.. he hadn’t noticed.. which was fine. he didnt’ know that he couldn’t be seen, at least not until he crossed running water and it short circuited her veiling energy around him, which happened about the time he was bulldozing through the line of women and they went sprawling. She shifted her focus and tried to.. overwhelm the pink robed women’s senses .. yea she was wanting to just knock them the hell out so they wouldn’t be a problem for the men. She wasn’t instructed to do any of it, but she didn’t need to wait for the say so to do somethign ot help.. something else she did to try to help was to reach out and let her aura touch the woman. the one struggling.. the one fighting ot maintain control. See, even if sense defense if she killed somebody with magic..... it would be bad.. Unless somebody would vouch for her.. it would be bad news, especialy with a Warden right here.. it was a dangerous line to toe, and it seemed like Karson knew that **** as well as anybody-

*His magic looped around the girl pulling the oxygen from the fire, causing it to fizzle out. The poor thing had stopped screaming, her vocal cords seared to the point they no longer worked. In the distance, he could see another girl attempting to escape off the top of the roof. He was sure a fall from this distance would kill her, maybe she knew that as well and figured it was better than meeting the Warden’s blade.* Hey! * he shouted at the girl, he wasn’t the most eloquent linguist. The 27 shows It was too late though she was already slipping off the roof. In a reflexive moment he hardened the remainder of his will and shouted* VENTUS! *Well the 30 showing he had very little left when it came to big magic. Obviously trapping his magic in his body to fuel his ridiculous physical abilities had it’s down sides when it came to trying to summon up extra magic. As the girl tumbled from the roof top though there would be a sudden gust of upward wind. He had wanted to have a big enough gust to propel her back up into the air and then catch her like a boss. But his magic wasn’t having it tonight. Instead the sudden gist of wind would slow her decent and break her fall. Maybe Artemis would be see her and be able to do something, if she wasn’t busy having a Sorority ****. Or maybe the gust was enough. Either way he would run to the rail looking down off the house to see the aftermath*

says to Everyone: It was good for Stormy that Karson was there, because she wasn't aware of the consequences of how she used her magic. That really wasn't something that the Delta Nu cultists thought about. She just wanted to escape, and if death was the answer so be it. She would slide her way over the edge of the room, her weight carrying her where her courage couldn't, the shout of 'hey' the last things he heard before she plunged, her stomach jumping to the back of her throat. She'd have her eyes closed tight and Stormy felt the surge of magic before the wind caught her just enough to slow her fall. Stormy hit the grass hard enough for the wind to be knocked out of her lungs, and STormy woudl roll over with a cough, sore, cut up, and free. Finally free. She would get to her feet with a lurch, she would run, and she'd probably run straight for Artemis without even realizing it. If the other woman wasn't careful, she might bowl her right over and take off. The sooner she never saw that pink house again the better.

says to Everyone: -seriously... seriously! HE STILL didn’t realize that she had been helping him the entire time ffs.. she had VEILED him until he was half way in the bloody house, then she was keeping others away, trying to knock out those who were left by overloading their psyche! Seriously.. did he pay attention to anything but his own testosterone fueled desire to play the hero.. ... like.. a boss.. your words!. So .. she was putting a field down to keep others away, trying to over load the pink robed cultists, trying to calm down the one who was throwing around fire and potentially getting herself in a lot of trouble!..and now he expected her to help him play the hero while doing all of that!.. ffs the power punches really had no idea how much help they were actually getting when theywere going in balls deep into situations. As miss gold said, the girls werne’t prepared for anything like this so her mental overloading likely worked, if ya’ll were actually paying attention to what Artemis was actually doing during this whole scenario. SO guys.. those pink robbed women were going to be falling down.. being overloaded by a psychic attack by miss Artemis .. but all means.. lets say all she was contributing to this was getting involved in a sorority ****...ffs. All she had in her was a bit of earth magic, but she had to let go of the bad juju field and all it did was bring soften the ground to something akin to sponge beneath the woman if she fell.. so.. team work-

-okay artemis was pretty damned tapped out righ tnow and was extending herself a bit too much to the point she was having difficult keeping her head on straight. Hopefully Morgan wwould have other wardens on the way to deal with the cultist... it.. woudlnt’ be a great thing as most of them would likely be executed. Once dark magic got into your mind it stained you forever.. or .. made corruption or temptation that much easier.. it changed you. .. but yea.. she was trying do too much and it was enough that it dropped her down to one knee. It was working.. the psychic assault on the pink robed cultist was working and they were dropping like flies- ”Hey.. Hey... careful! over here.. - yea trying to get your attention before you ran her over. She was the one who was putting that bad juju field and she had to put it back up to keep people from coming close to the house and getting h urt.. but right now it was abotu like a fart in the wind after the psychic **** she just pulled -

says to Everyone: -Morgan stopped a moment at Artemius' Comment, and then at Karson's question. He raised his left hand, spread his fingers wide and made a faint throwing motion. Both of them would feel the pulse of magic that he sent out to search out the building in front of them, and frowned a bit. -That horrid pink building ahead is warded heavily. -He noted, starting to move again, and move quickly into a run- Old wards, ones that would keep out most wizards. This house has stood here protected for awhile...-he said, sliding to a halt. listneing to the outcries from atop the roof..and thinking rapidly-Artimis...the fireld now...Karson..get ready...I'm going to bring the wards down....

-Now the wards were fiarly sturdy, and old, witha pretty hefty threshold to buil doff of.After all how long had had the sister's of this soiririty called this house a home? Brute forcing his way through them was not going to work. However what he had in mind was a bit more finesse, but it was also going to keep him busy while Karson went up to save the girl on the roof. -

The house was old, the wards older, but this house had been built ina time when the walls were sealed, and there was no reason to open them except for a doorway or a window. Both of which hummed with magick and would take hours to overcome..but there was a flaw that the wards designers never really anticipated..and that was modernization. The advent of indoor plumbing was the achillies heel of the wards on the house, and Morgan focused on the pipes running to the house..pipes on public property..not warded at all...extneding his right hand with the bracelt of chains clinking he murmered-Glacius..-and sucked the heat from the water in the pipes..freezing it solid ina matte rof seconds..his left hand raised and a ball of fire started to firm in it from the heat he was taking from the water....-Wait for it..wait for it..-murmered..before he looked to the fountain out in fromt of the house seeing it frozen solid as well..-and...INcendius!-he said Ramming the heat back into the pipes as hard as he could..flash heating the ice..and causing the pipes all over the house to rupture...which cuased the now liquid water and steam to condense and shoot out of the pipes...causing runing water to spash all over the interior walls..and all over the wards...running water grounded magick..and ina matte rof moments..the way was open for Karson to charg ein.-

says to Everyone: Running for the edge of there roof, Stormy would hit the ward and ended up thrown back into the waiting arms of her Delta Nu sisters. A struggle would ensue, one of them holding up a knife that barely missed Stormy. Instead of being stabbed through the arm, she was cut along her bicep, the young woman letting out a scream of fear, rage. From down below it probably seemed like some sort of petty girl fight, someone slept with someone else boyfriend but really! This was about demons, life, death, and what was right. Stormy would fight back, enough to get free from the grasping hands that were tearing her her clothes, just a handful of cultists but it was enough. Her skin felt hot, too hot, and a second later one of the cultists would scream as the sleeves of her not so hidden culty robe caught fire. The wards would kick in and Stormy would find herself blinded by magic - both the cultists, and her own untrained abilities. Hitting the rooftop, for a second she thought her skin was going to peel of her body and then just like that, Morgan brought down the wards. Stormy wasn't sure what had happened but she heard the screams of the others and felt the world swell, then pop around her like she'd been crushed by some unseen pressure. Trying to get to her feet, she would move to make her way back to the rooftop if she could, but just when she got there, someone would grab her by the ankle, and a wrestling match would begin. Stormy trying everything she could to get away, to roll over the edge of the roof. It didn't matter, she'd rather die. The cultist trying to grab her, pull her back, and stab her with a very un-Delta Nu like weapon. The boys would find themselves confronted by a stream of Delta Nu's in hideous pink highlighted robes making their way down the stairs. There might not be more than a handful of them, but it wasn't like they were going to pull the men in and give them lap dances like some sorority themed college movie. No. They were going to paint their walls with their blood if they could. They were powerful. This wasn't the first demon Delta Nu had tried to enslave.

says to Everyone: -everybody did things differently and just because one school of thinking was to do things one way, did not mean that was the only way to do things. To get stuck in such ruts was learning death, or she figured at least. Or it was an excuse to buck the system.. uh. not that she had intentions of bucking any system that was put in place by grump incredibly powerful old men, so yea she’d not buck to hard. . moving right along. She knew how to do tracking spells, maybe not too overt of tracking spells but she could do basic ones. Unless these guys were not very talented at what they were doing, a basic tracking spell wasn’t likely going to do ****. So he said he didn’t and moved in, obviously he knew where he was going, or so it seemed but it wasn’t the stadium that was pinging on her radar, Karson was blowing off the sorority thing .. couldnt’ he feel the energy of the place? I mean.. there were wards that gave off energy an she could almost feel the panic of the woman on the roof and it was definitely pulling at her concentration that she was trying to gather. When he dismissed it as some shenanigan or rush week prank she spouted off - ”Seriously? Can’t you feel it.. something is wrong there -hey she had even stayed quiet during the whole cutting off childrens head... which made her think he had the wrong side of an encounter with the Wardens.. which.. might explain a lot . She didn’t need to fuss any longer though since Karson was coming around to thinking something was wrong and deferred to Morgan-

-there was no more screwing around and she doubled her focus. She didn’t need to wait for Morgan to give her the go ahead to put down that field and her own magical aura spilled from her and spread out around them until it encompassed them and stretched out toward the building and beyond. Chances were those within would already feel the probbing of the wards by Morgan .. with whatever was going on in the roof their attention had to be split on what the hell was goign on to just worry about a subconscious feeling of wanting to be elsewhere. it wasn’t a strong field, but enough to make people simply want to avoid coming close without looking too much into why they felt that way.

-she was feeling the worry coming from the woman, she was scared and that was pinging on her emotional radar to the point it was hard to keep her heart rate from picking up in response. She shook her head.. she had to focus for one to keep others away from the area. When the girl bounced off the ward it seemed that she choose to run just a bit too soon since Morgan was working on bringing down the wards, damn it.. if it had only been just been a little quicker. Oh.. .water.. .running water grounded magic! she knew exactly what morgan was doing when she heard his incantation of Glacius.. he was breaking the pipes! . Of course this would be a problem for them if they went in the house as well, but right now it was just grounding out any magic in th ehouse! whatever the cult had going on would be seriously hamstrung right now! . With **** down it meant Karson was ready to charge in. She didnt’ ask though.. maybe she should have but she veiled Karson when he was getting ready to run in. yea her worry was the woman on the roof. They slid to a halt outside the house, he heard the man tell him to get ready as what sounded like a cat fight was raging above them, and he did. The physical exertion of the sprint had actually helped focus him and he drew I the silent sleeping power of the earth, channeling it into his muscles hardening them, causing them to bulge as if they were flexing. Then with another strand, he reached out and pulled in the wind. Harnessing it’s swiftness and unrelenting endurance. * there was a burst of energy above him, large enough that even he could feel it now, the wards collapsed from the house and he was moving forward. His body driving forward like a charging Rhino. He was going through the door and didn’t care what it was made of. He took the picture of him busting through the door and held it in his mind preparing to expel his will shatter it. However right as he got to the door it durst like a damn, a tide of pink robed women spilling out. Confusion. In that instance he wasn’t sure if they were craved psycho’s or scared young girls fleeing the chaos above. He couldn’t release the power he had held for the door, that much force might turn one of the tiny girls to mush. Thus breaking the first rule of Magic. Instead he held the power tucked his head and barreled through the girls like a line back plowing through a line cheerleaders. Pink robed women bounced off the door frames, porch rails and furniture. He felt the steel of a blade slide across his bicep slicing his shirt, however it was just a passing sensation blocked by the adrenaline spilling into his body. The furvor of his charge obviously catching the girls just as off guard as he had been. They hadn’t been expecting to blunt the charge of a furious Rhino. If it hadn’t been for the knife wounds he had received in passing he would have felt bad for the poor things, but as it was he saw the stairs and did not stop the charge. says to Everyone: -Morgan stopped a moment at Artemius' Comment, and then at Karson's question.

He noted the many enchanted items on the man and suddenly felt the need to bench press something heavy in order to show off his masculinity. He surpassed the urge and smiled at the two, a slight nod of respect to Degray* Warden… *then a wink at The young lady* Artemis..

*he nodded again in response* Yep, I am ready to roll.. * he slid in to the driver seat worked the engine, it fired up coughed and died* Um… * he tried again and again but the engine did not fire, obviously the presence of three Wizards was a little to much for the old truck and the speakers started squealing a high pitched wail that was deafening. Karson quickly opened the door grabbed his staff and took three quick steps away from the wailing vehicle.* Damned Thing! * He cursed, holding one large hand to his left ear and shaking his head* Well… on foot? *he looked towards the stadium which is where his sources had said they may be able to pick up the trail, it was about a mile from where they stood and was easily the largest building in the southern skyline. The stadium it’s self boasted the ability to sit over one hundred thousand spectators. It was even larger than some profession stadiums, Oklahoma loves it’s college football.*

says to Everyone: -One of the first things they taught you in warden training is that there is no such thing as overkill. You had to be ready for wahtever your eenemy threw at you, and be ready to destroy them two, sometimes three times over if necessary. At one point surgical strikes might have been a good thing, especially once American Wizards were more prevaliant..but the European Wizards were all about blowing **** up as a plan B..instead of C or D like the Americans. This band of warlocks had tried to enslave a demon, and even worse freed a demon, but had not managed to corral it, so yes Morgan was coming in with everything he had if need be. A lifetime or two of experinces and all the magickal trinket's he had were a match for most beasties form the Never Never.- Walking it is..-He said to Karson unstrapping and sliding out, stepping out of the way so Artimeis could get out.-Have you done a tracking spell to find out where we are assaulting tonight?

-How had Artimus gotten lucky enough to have attracted the attnetion of a Senior Warden? She might be suprrised to find out that it was in the nature of a personal favor from one scottish Wizard in Vegas that was Kin to her, calling in a marker so to speak. Morgan had agreed to look her over, and had been impressed by what he saw..so had taken her as his apprentice....- Right now we might need you to do crowd control..just place a field around the area when we get there that will encourage people to stay away from it...That way they do not get caught in the crossfire...-because anyone who was summoning or freeing demons had to know the Greycloaks were coming..it was only a matter of time.-

says to Everyone: "No. No! Did you not see what I saw?! That woman...that...that -thing-...no! Get off me! I didn't sign up for this. No!"...you could say no as many times as you want but it wasn't going to end any other way. It was an impossible situation. The only thing that Stormy could do was run, but there was no way she was making it to the front door. So she went up. Even if she had to jump off the roof, she'd risk it. The stairs under her feet would creak with age, the house had it's own history and had housed hundreds of Delta Nu's and cultists throughout the years. She had her hands on the wall, trying to get away from the cultists that hadn't quite noticed she'd made a break for it yet, waiting to feel the pull of something inhuman behind her. The thought of that poor woman...that thing clawing its way out of her back! Stormy would take the stairs two, three at a time and finally, burst out onto the roof. The roof was used by the Delta Nu's to sunbathe throughout the year. It also just happened to be in view of the stadium. If you were to go to the very top row, as the college men often did, you could see the rooftop of the pink Delta Nu house, and the girls who took advantage of the sunny rooftop. Tonight it wasn't so sunny. Tonight, she could almost feel the wards in the air, feel them snapping at her skin as she threatened the cult and it's goals. She didn't care, she couldn't stay here. And then her 'sisters' would follow her, one after the next, finding their way to the rooftop now that she'd set off their alarms.

says to Everyone: see, this time she knew the man at least and there was just an ingrained level of respect for wizards of the white council when it came to her, or how she behaved toward them. She didn’t come packing anything really heavy, it took time and a great deal of concentration to make those magical items like Morgan had, she was working some kinetic ringsand something in the way of physical sheilding, but she wasn’t there yet. Anyway!.. she gave a touch of a smile towards karson and gave a gentle nod of her head- ”Wizard Melthorne”-it was a title and meant to show respect and also keep things professional, she knew why she was here, and it wasn’t for the heavy lifting whatsoever. She wasn’t even sure what exactly they were doing but knew it involved going to the campus.. god only knows what that meant. So they were inthere and ready to go, but thent he truck decided to crap out and god the speakers squealing like that had her wincing , not that she could go anywhere between the two men but.. ouch!. Well, things were bound to go **** up eventually so hopefully this was getting it out of the way first... rather than an omen on how the rest of the night would go. Murphy’s law was totally a thing with Wizards she pretty much planned on plans going to ****. . She laughed a bit as at the display of frustration Karson did and she just shook her head and pulled herself out of the truck after undoing the seatbelt and wen tout the driver’s side since it was clear first. Artemis didnt’ have a staff, not quite that old school, she idd have what looked like a chain belt around her waist that she could unfasten and pretty much did the same thing as their staffs, no matter, it was inconspicuous at least. she didn’t need to talk, she was just fine with listening to whatever those who knew a hell of a lot more than she did kenw, it was one way to learn perhaps more than was simply being taught. She was commited to becoming better.. stronger.. she wanted to be able to fight if she had to. Not htat she necessarily wanted to, but it was something she felt she needed to do. There was some angst in her though at the thought in facing those who had helped create whatever it was she felt at the memorial, if they were up to something else, which she figured they were since Morgan and Karson were going ready for bear. She was just wearing black tactical pants because it had pockets and places for various trinkets. Simple things could go a long way depending on what it was you were fighting. The tracking spell question obviously meant for Karson.. right? ssure sure.. right. .. wait... her cousin had gotten involved! damn it all.. Okay taht wasn’t bad, she had lost her former mentor because he had gotten nutty and increasinlyg paranoid.. and violent. .. but yea okay, good thing for huge favors. She had offered her help and Morgan told her what he wanted her to do.. it was just a part of psychomancy really and that was right up her alleyway- ”bad juju feels coming right up -she knew what he was asking for, it was also part of staying behind. Though she felt the energy creep over her psyche as they continued further onto the campus .. the energy likely of the Delta Nu’s house.. wards.. just.. a wrongness that tripped over her senses the closer they got. Could... could this whole thing really jsut be a sorority? that.. okay wouldnt’ really be that crazy in the grand scheme of things . they were close enough to see the pink house and she paused for a moment and only gave the - ”Uh.. guys... ’-but chances were they would see the very same thing she would. For right now she was gathering her concentration to put out that.. uh. .bad juju field.. hey.. she was young and progressive.. she could come up with different names for ****-

says to Everyone: *His eyebrows lifted as the Warden asked him if he had laid down any tracking spells. He was not very good at the type of magic at least in the field. His magic power displayed heavily in augmenting his natural abilities such as strength, speed, durability, stamina and senses. He was also a pretty damn good enchanter, he loved building things, especially magical things. It wasn’t like he couldn’t do tracking magic, or just about any other kind really. It just required a lot more preparation and research. He had pretty diverse experience with working magic, but that was related to his enchantments, not “in the field’ use.* No… but I had the second best thing which was sources, I have lots of Ears that listen, and mouths that talk. * he smiled* Apparently some weird **** has been happening at the stadium... Dollars to doughnuts says we can pick up their trail there. *he set off in that direction, his long legs carrying the mass of his body with an almost militaristic posture.* If you think that is a good idea.. * he said to the warden about setting up a perimeter* When it comes to smashing baddies.. this is your show. * He hesitated, remembering his own black hood experience, and it was not something he liked to recount.* Unless we are cutting heads off children… * he mumbled under his breath.*

*Karson was busy fixing his thoughts on what would need to be done once they got to the Stadium, and trying to keep away the images of what might end up as the aftermath. So much so that he hadn’t really been sensitive towards anything until Artemis piped up. He turned to look at her, his eyes following the path of hers to the pink house* What? * he looked to Morgan then back towards the house, with out having his senses heightened, he really didn’t pick up anything magical at this range. He did see a small figure atop the house though* You have flash backs to your college days? * he quipped* A particularly bad Rush week or something? *though his time in the field had taught him to respect intuition. So he pulled his will in, lighting the runes of his staff in a very shallow blue light* Warden?

says to Everyone: *Karson had spent most of the afternoon working out a Mel’s Gym doing a combination of power lifting and MMA classes, some of which he taught and some of which he was the student. He had returned home, and took refuge behind the defensive wards of his small apartment in order to take a shower and grab a bite to eat. He had kept the shower short, because the hot water heater was on the fritz again and he didn’t want his lips to turn blue and other parts of his anatomy to retreat in his stomach. By the time he had showered, ate and got dressed the Sun had retreated down past the horizon. He checked the Old Grand Father Clock, and saw he was running out of time. He hurriedly collected his staff, .45xds and baseball hat which had a picture of an AR-15 with the bright red words “Come take it” written above the weapon and headed down to his truck. The truck was an old thing, built somewhere in the mid-sixties. It used to be powder blue but now looked more like a mid grey color, and had seen it’s better days. He pulled the driver door open, placing his staff in the gun rack above his Ar-15 before sliding onto the bench seat and coaxing the old engine to life. He drove across town to the University of Oklahoma campus to meet up with his colleague Warden DeGray. The warden part of his name also tended to put Karson on guard. They were pretty scary guys, charged with hunting down and killing warlocks. He pulled into the parking lot outside the medical building in order to wait*

says to Everyone: -Morgan himself exited the building a short while later. Why here? Well as anyone knew Wizards spent alot of time at the whole research part of things, and sometimes that research took them too libraries not thier own. HIs fame as a Novelist presnted him to the Campus of most universisites as a fellow academic..add in the Doctorate on British Literature and a Few other Master's Degrees(as well as a the Partredge in a pear tree) and most campus would allow him to use thier historical sections, often un escorted. If not, well there was always the promise of a large donation..even in Academia..Money talked. -

He'd taken the time to change out of his more schoalrly clothes to something a bit more robust. Simple black cargoes, and a long sleeved shirt of forest greenwith just the faintest hint of lighter green highlights. To the other Wizards, the shirt practically hummed with defensive power. On His left arm he wore the leather woven wrist cuff, on his right a braclet made of interwoven chains. ..Ring's glittered on every finger..made of various diffrent materials. Morgan had been around along time, and like Karson was smart enough to have a side arm..slung low on his thigh was a very old vintage looking colt .45...that might have stormed the beaches of normandy at omaha beach. the other thigh had a long looking survival knife that would do Rambo proud. He carried no staff, and in truth Morgan hardly ever used one..oh he had one..two actually as the Black Staff it self was a very powerful and potent Talisman..only to be used aginast the most dangerous of foes. His usual Staff was the same place his Warden Blade was..in an extradimsnional space that could be gotten to by focusing on one of the rings on his fingers. He was speaking to Artemis as they came walking down the steps towards the truck- We are going to try to track down the cultists who performed that Murder a few nights back..By all accounts and from everything we've discovered this group looks to be quite fanatical..So I want you to keep your head ona swivel My apprentice..and watch Karson and I's backs for us..-in short..stay behind the combat wizards, because he'd rather you not get hurt unecessarily. No it wasn't a slap at you, you yourself were well aware your combat magicks were not progressing very fast. He was trying to keep you from accidently breaking the first Law of magic.-

Karson...everything ready to go..?-he said opening the trucks door and letting Artemis in first..she got to sit in the middle..rank had it's privladges and all.- Getting in and closing the door he strapped in..safety first and it was the law right? They really did not need an over zealous cop pulling them over while they were loaded for bear right?-

says to Everyone: This wasn't what Stormy had signed up for! Going to college was just one of those things, it was expected of her and it was the next logical step in life. She had thought she'd be going to football games, parties, that she'd maybe join a club or a sorority! She thought that four years were going to fly by and she was going to earn her degree like any other red blooded American kid but she couldn't have been more wrong. This had been the longest year of her life. She had told herself that summer was coming, that she could go home, that all of this would just be a bad dream, but that was the most naive thought she'd ever had. Stormy had joined a cult. Cult's didn't let you go home for the summer, even if you everyone thought the cult was a sorority. On campus, the Delta Nu's were the most fashionable, popular girls who threw the best parties, got the best grades. Stormy had been stunned when they approached her at the start of the year! She should have known that something was wrong when they told her she didn't even have to rush. Thinking it was too good to be true, she had wanted the inclusion. The family. She wanted to feel like she belonged. She never belonged, not once in life. Now Stormy knew why, and it took being in a cult to learn it. When they had initiated her into the sorority they had told her their true purpose in wanting her in their sisterhood. Stormy never fit in for a reason. She was powerful. Magical. She had thought it was just some sort of hazing ritual...and Now she wished it had been. She'd rather be hazed to death, then have this be her reality. Most of the Delta Nu's were home for the summer, the remaining few, were the cult members. The powerful, just like Stormy. At first she had been fascinated with her new life...they Had offered her knowledge. Training. She felt for the first time like she understood herself, and then that understanding, turned into a grim reality. The Delta Nu house, the pink confectionery delight that crowned frat row on campus, had gone from a privilege to live in, to a prison. Stormy had joined the Delta Nu's looking for sisterhood, for fun...she Had gotten so much more than she bargained for. Powers. Teaching. The classes the Delta Nu's conducted in the basement of their sorority house taught her about her powers and at first it had been fantastic. Whimsical. She had felt like the world was hers for the taking and that by the time she was done, she would be loved. Revered. Powerful. The cultists had promised her that. And then things had gotten twisted. They threw their first party and Stormy had witnessed things she had never seen outside of a horror movie. They manipulated their fellow students, used them for horrible purposes, and when Stormy objected they turned on her. Told her how easily it could be her. They revealed just how evil they were and told Stormy that she was just an insurance plan. She could be one of them, or she could be used by them. Either way, she wasn't going to be given a choice. So Stormy had tried to behave, the hope that they would teach her enough about these abilities of hers, that she could escape. Summer had come, and Stormy was forced to stay in that pink hell of a house with a handful of her Delta Nu sisters. Things almost seemed like they were going to be better...they Were starting to trust her. She kept her head down, and they thought she was with them. And then they had tried to pull a demon out of a woman to enslave it. Stormy now found herself arguing with them, begging. Her powers heating up with her moral fortitude and her desperation to get away from the cult. Part of her knew that if she couldn't get away, she'd have to take them with her. She didn't want whatever she'd witnessed to -ever- be something in the Delta Nu's control.

says to Everyone: --well she had been right about the man being a gym rat, not that the physique wasn’t nice to look at but that’s about as much as she thought about it all. If there was one thing that was common among their kind they all had a myraid of defensive warding up. Arty could do some pretty intricate warding but she was still working on having the punch in other disciplines. WHo better to teach her than senior warden. How she had been lucky enough to get somebody as infamous as Warden DeGray.. well..that might be somethign that needed to be worked out. OH well! as it was she was prone to many of the same problems as many practitioners of the arts did .. water heaters.. cell phones... any other random high level electronics just had a expiration date that was likely going on a day or so, if that. in retrospect that made Karson’s old truck make more sense of course. There had been a time when she might have gotten huffy about being asked to stay behind, but she had grown up and knew where her strengths were. She was better at psychomancy, veils, illusions, auramancy, and was incredibly sensitive to emotions and psychic residue that lingered in places. So last night had been particularly trying for her, even more so when Karson seemed to struggle with his own anger. She hadn’t said anything about it, beucase that was her thing.. - ”do you want cover or a distraction? ... Or just watch ”-being sensitive did make her a pretty good look out of course. She was just making an offer since she idnd’t know what the two of you were doing, but if there was anything she was good at was veiling and some serious misdirection. But yea she slide into the truck after Morgan opened the door. So she mirrored Morgan and put on the seat belt.

The Murrah Building was the site of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 in which 168 people died and a few hundred more were injured. With so much death here it is not at all surprising that the building is said to be haunted by the souls of the many children who died that day.

So far the only only witnesses to the ghosts have been children under the age of Ten, numerous parents report their child disappearing only to be found sometime later. When asked, the children report playing with their new friends even when no other children are around. Some of the older children, when questioned, have mentioned their friends by name, those names can almost always be found on the Memorial Thrones, as children that died that day.

World Information / Skirvin Hotel

The Skirvin Hotel is one of the oldest buildings in Oklahoma City and it is among the most popular luxury hotels favoured by visiting NBA teams. However, it also just so happens to be one of the most haunted places in Oklahoma City as well!

There are frequent reports made by guests regarding the paranormal activity here – even from many of the NBA players! In fact, some of the most well known tales come from players from The New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls!

Several members of the Chicago Bulls team have stated that during their stay there were strange, unexplained sounds outside their rooms even though nobody was out there.

A few of them even claimed to see their room doors slamming shut all by themselves! The New York Knicks had a similar story to tell and even went so far as to blame their loss to Oklahoma on the ghosts – presumably because they were kept up at night?

The main spirit that is said to be haunting the hotel is said to be Effie, a hotel maid who was having an affair with the first owner of the property, W.B. Skirvin. She became pregnant and Skirvin locked her in a room on the tenth floor to protect his own reputation.

However, when he refused to let her out even after the child was born she fell into a deep depression and ended up throwing herself out of the window.

Now male guests staying at The Skirvin Hotel often report hearing a disembodied female voice propositioning them and some have seen a naked female apparition appear in the shower with them!

One male guests even went so far as to say that this female spirit actually sexually assaulted him during his stay!

Wizardy / Wizard's Sight and Soul Gaze
« Last post by Psychobarbie on July 01, 2018, 12:02:10 am »
Wizards Sight:

Use of the Sight, sometimes also referred to as "third eye", allows a wizard to gaze upon the world and see its supernatural side, allowing the perception of things hidden to the normal eye. What has been seen through the use of the Sight will remain a lasting memory forever, and will neither fade nor be forgotten. Because of this, wizards don't use it often, for it could easily drive them insane.

The Sight usually shows concepts physically, e.g. if a loved one had recently died, a person could have wounds similar to those of a sword, as thought by Harry Dresden. When Molly Carpenter forced her friends off drugs, Harry saw the damage done by her as if a laser scalpel had drilled 2 holes into the victim's head.

The Sight can break through illusions and is generally the method used by wizards to pierce veils.(reference needed) The Sight can also be induced in mundane humans. One known example is the drug ThreeEye, which gave the user the Sight, but also severely strained their minds, as it was unable to be turned off until the drug wore off.

The Sight is similar to, but not the same as, a soulgaze.(See Below) Seen from the Spirit side, it looked like: a blinding burst of light emitting from between and just above the eyebrows and included a tangible sensation.

Soul Gaze:

When a practicing wizard and a being with a soul (all mortals along with White Court vampires and others) look each other in the eyes, it begins what is known as a soulgaze. It gives the other a window into their soul, which can't be faked. It doesn’t relay specific information (you can’t use it to interrogate someone), but it does give one a vague impression on whether they’re trustworthy or not, or if they've been psychically harmed, etc. Just like if one were to use their Sight, the memory of the gaze doesn’t fade with time, being as sharp years later as when it happened. One circumstance in which a Soulgaze doesn't occur, is when a doctor looked into Harry Dresden's eyes. She didn't so much as look into his eyes, as examine them, which is professional intent.
